Resolution

People suffering from migraine with visual aura most often see their symptoms in the periphery and not at the center of gaze. When they change gaze the visual disturbance is moving with the eye movement, a feature called translocation. Therefore the animation should not be looked at directly.

The distance between the fixation cross and the vertical middle line of the animation should be approximately like shown below:
